The Cervical Screening Programme

The National Cervical Screening Programme (NCSP) uses HPV Primary Screening in its efforts to eliminate cervical cancer in Aotearoa.   Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the name given to a group of over 150 viruses that cause infection on the surface of the skin and it's these types of HPV that are more likely to cause certain types of cancers. Self Smear Kits are now available from the clinic.  For more information please visit the link HPV and cervical cancer | Time to Screen - National Screening Unit

Our clinic is offering all child vaccinations for enrolled patients and for most vaccines this is a free service.  Vaccinating your child will protect them against dangerous diseases and will set them up for a healthy future.  Please book an appointment with our reception team on phone 09 360 6890 and bring them along to the clinic to be vaccinated.
