OUR NEW PRIMARY HEALTH ORGANIZATION (PHO)
As of the 1st July 2025, Maxcare Medical Centre Ltd are now part of The Cause Collective Primary Health Organisation.
Established in August 2010, The Cause Collective (TCC) is home to the only Pacific-led Primary Healthcare Organisation (PHO) in Aotearoa New Zealand and is passionate about improving the health equity and wellbeing for Pacific and other underserved populations.
OUR NEW MATERNAL HUB
MANAVA ORA
Manava Ora – meaning the 'Breath of Life' is MaxCare Medical Centre’s local expression of the national Kahu Taurima initiative.
It embodies our commitment to deliver culturally safe, Pacific-informed, and family-centred maternity and early years services.
At MaxCare, Manava Ora strengthens the Kahu Taurima vision by anchoring it in our unique Pacific Ways of Understanding and in our Maternal Hub model, providing whānau with holistic, accessible, and empowering care.
Manava Ora - our new maternal hub is located at our 5/225 Great South Road Clinic.
